CREATURE
ACTING
Many of the highest-grossing films and video games feature creature characters — ranging from real animals to mythical beasts.
At Creature Bionics, we specialise in teaching actors how to physically embody creature roles through performance practices developed from our experience working on major film and video game productions over the past decade.
Our training focuses on physical transformation, behavioural study, and performance authenticity.

All of our workshops incorporate creature character development by default.

VIDEO GAME
MECHANICS
The video game and motion capture industry is now widely recognised as a professional career path for actors. A significant proportion of performance capture work comes from in-game character mechanics, commonly referred to as video game mechanics.
Video game mechanics describe the movement performances used to bring both playable and non-playable characters to life. Actors pursuing work in motion capture must develop these specific physical performance techniques, as they form the bulk of performance requirements within video game production.
Our workshops introduce actors to these core movement systems, preparing them for the physical and technical demands of motion capture work

QUADRUPED
TRAINING
We are currently the only company in Europe offering dedicated Quadruped Performance Training.
Actors learn to use our arm-extension equipment — the same practical effects tools used in productions such as Planet of the Apes — enabling performers to move safely and convincingly on all fours.
These extensions are also available for purchase and can be used for modules like animal studies.
WHAT MAKES
OUR WORKSHOPS UNIQUE?
All Creature Bionics workshops incorporate confidence and mindset training alongside physical performance.
We emphasise:
- Self-belief
- Stepping outside comfort zones
- Trust in creative instinct
These qualities are embedded naturally within the training process rather than taught as separate theory, allowing actors to experience personal growth alongside performance development.
