The services listed below are specifically designed for actors who want to develop their skills or a showreel in creature and/or motion capture.
For an additional £100, you can bring another friend/performer with you and split the cost of all services that do not include the use of our motion capture equipment.
ACTING FOR VIDEO GAMES
Video Game Mechanics

For the first half of the session, you will learn the techniques required for video gameplay acting, such as locomotion and combat from a player and enemy character perspective. In the second half, you will create your own character using the techniques you've learnt and it will be filmed on a professional camera for your showreel/social media purposes
CREATURE RIG TRAINING

Choose any 2 of our creature rigs for developing your creature acting abilities, whilst learning the movement required for video game performance.
You will receive video footage for showreel/social media content within 2 weeks after the session.
MOCAP REEL DEVELOPMENT
With Motion Capture Via Xsens

This workshop allows you to learn everything you need to about video game mechanics while being in a mocap suit. Thanks to our Xsens system and the RealTime capabilities in Unreal Engine, you will be able to learn and watch your performance live on a CG character.
At the final part of your session, you will have the opportunity to mocap what you have learned as well as any other skills that demonstrate your performance capabilities. You will receive up to 1 minute's worth of mocap data in a video format, using different avatars for different skill sets within 28days.
This service can be accompanied by learning how to use the Arm-Xtentions free of charge and receiving mocap footage with a quadruped character.
