The information in our tutorial videos will be what participants in this workshop will learn in-depth.

Class Details:

This workshop is designed for participants who want to learn the techniques required for video game acting, specifically in-game characters. The session will be focused on developing and performing locomotion in line with a professional Shoot for a video game. By the end of the session, participants should be confident in knowing what's required for a video game production capturing for in-game characters.

All levels of experience are welcomed!

Addition Notes:
This workshop takes place at The Hive (Garden Studios), starting from 10am and finishing at 7pm. There will be two 10-minute breaks, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, and an hour lunch break. Sandwiches and bottles of water will be provided but you can bring your own lunch or go out to eat.


  • Hand sanitiser and cleaning facilities on site.

  • The session will be recorded on a 4k camera. You will receive the locomotion/movement you performed within 2 weeks after the session. Some of these clips may be used by us, Creature Bionics, as promotional material or for commercial purposes, therefore a release form will need to be signed if you do not mind appearing in any of the material.

Please be aware that this is not a motion capture workshop. The skills gained from this session are used for motion capture, but the workshop itself is focused on character development and video game mechanics.


The fee for attending the workshop is £120 + 6 booking fee (booking fee only applies if paid online. Bank transfer available with no booking fee).

Refund Policy:
We do not offer a refund for the workshop but for reasons such as work, medical, emergency, child care and family matters, the fee can be used for the following workshop. If the session has to be cancelled via the organiser, a refund will be issued within 28 days unless you would like to keep your place for the next available workshop.
